House of Tartts, built for the Messina family in 1886, is a restored self-catering guesthouse in the style of a bed and breakfast accommodation.  Guests may select one of three private rooms, each with a private bath. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee, teas and cereals. Additionally, the entire house is available for rental and accommodates up to 9 guests. We invite our guests to relax on the spacious porch and make yourself at home in warm informal comfort.   The NEW Carriage House is a restored 2 bedroom, 2 bath, private vacation home overlooking the House of Tartts Garden.

The House of Tartts' king room is accessible to the disabled. Outside smoking only. Allergen free. Sorry, no pets.                                       

The House of Tartts is located on the corner of Avenue F and 4 th Street, only 2 blocks from the Apalachicola River. Marinas, quaint shops, excellent restaurants, historic churches, homes, and parks are all within walking distance.  Enjoy a stroll along the working waterfront or take a short scenic drive to beautiful beaches on the nearby Gulf of Mexico.
